AION 2 Server and Faction Choice Guide
Match all three fields with your group: region, server name and faction. An AION 2 account can create only one faction on a server. Elyos and Asmodian servers are paired, so two players choosing opposite faction members of a pair are not choosing the same playable side.

Decision order
Section titled “Decision order”- Pick the service region that fits your location and group.
- Copy the exact server and faction from the group organizer.
- Verify the faction before final character creation.
- If creation is restricted, read the current notice rather than repeatedly creating elsewhere.
The restriction exists to manage server and faction populations. It is not proof that your account is broken. Capture the server name and notice text before troubleshooting.
Can you change later?
Section titled “Can you change later?”The published global plan schedules server transfers from October 14, 2026. Initial transfers are described as free and limited to the same faction. Treat this as a planned live-service window, not a guarantee that every origin/destination pair will remain open. Check the current transfer notice immediately before acting.
