AION 2 Steam and PURPLE Account Linking Guide

Steam and PURPLE access the same AION 2 global service, and linked access can use the same character progress. The link is the critical step: do not assume that opening a second launcher automatically identifies the account where your character was created.

Link without losing track

1. Write down which launcher and game account created the character.
2. Sign into the intended Steam or NC/PURPLE identity, not a spare browser session.
3. Use the official link flow presented for AION 2.
4. Confirm the displayed account identity before approving.
5. Launch and verify the expected region, server and character before purchasing or claiming rewards.

If the character is absent, stop. Recheck region and identity before creating a replacement, unlinking anything or making a purchase. This guide does not claim that every mistaken link can be reversed.

What is shared

The global Steam and PURPLE releases use shared servers. With the proper link, official launch materials state that character progression is shared. The launcher itself does not change the one-faction-per-server rule.
